A walk around my library.
I've posted these pictures of my library on my general topics blog but really it would make more sense to post them on my book blog. Duh!!!
So I'll post one picture at a time and give a little description of what each bookcase holds. Starting above with this three sectioned bookcase which
holds most of my fantasy/science fiction books. The paperbacks on the bottom shelves are all double shelved. That's Rupert blurring through the foreground.
This view is to the left of the above picture. The two Ikea bookshelves against the one wall, next to the desk, hold more fantasy/science fiction books, my Anne Rice books, coffee table/reference books (I'm not sure what else to call them), mysteries and thrillers and books on Ontario/Canada/Toronto.
The bookshelves on the main wall hold fiction and one section is all biographies.
You may notice that all the books on these shelves are laying flat. I can get up to six or more books on each shelf by doing this. Since all bookshelves are full up in my library I am desperately trying to find ways to fit new books in wherever, however I can.
And that's it for now. Cheers.

A very cozy looking library!
What a fun idea to post pics like this. There's are a couple coffee shops/bookstores here in town--I wonder if they'd mind if I took photos? Or maybe even cozy places to read...
Hmmm.
Thanks for finding your way to my blog. It's fun to meet other readers. Do you know of any blogs that focus on books? I haven't found any other than yours. But there must be many.
To answer your question, yes, I really enjoyed The Historian, although about midway I through, all those letters got a bit tedious. Still my favorite book so far is The Piano Tuner. There's a review on my blog.
Oops, I really do have a grasp of the language, lol. 'There' are a couple...not 'there's'
I always think ahead and mess up, lol. I wish blogger had an edit button.
